In October 1928 (the 17th year of the Republic of China), Ma Yinchu became a member of the Legislative Yuan. The following year, he was elected chairman of the Economic Committee and Finance Committee of the Legislative Yuan. He also serves as an economics professor at Nanjing National Central University, Jinling University, and Shanghai National Jiaotong University.
