Article 42 of the "Education Ordinance" stipulates that anyone who teaches regular courses in schools must apply to the Teacher Registration Team of the Education Bureau. They are divided into two categories: registered teachers and permitted teachers. 2.1 According to the current Education Ordinance (Cap. 279), anyone who teaches in a school must be a registered teacher.
